Celebrating another year!

It’s the big day! Today is Mia’s 4th birthday! It’s going to be a great day, with a few presents to make her happy and discover new tastes, places and, above all, a perfect (or almost perfect) upbringing.

Thanks to my friends and family

A big thank you to everyone who thought about Mia’s birthday, from near or far. I’d like to thank my big sister for her contribution to the purchase of the harness that Mia will be receiving for treasure hunts in the forest and other outdoor activities.

Thanks also to Inerya and all the other people who enable me to look after Mia properly, and above all to give her a bit more than just the ‘basics’.

Celebrating 4 years!

Making your dog happy is probably what every dog owner wants. And of course I do too. That’s why I got in touch with a dog trainer to improve the bond with Mia a little more and also to teach her how to live with other dogs.

The courses are given through the SVPA in Vufflens-la-Ville for a ridiculously low price, but with a fantastic teacher!

As well as classes, the 4th birthday is also an opportunity to give Mia 2-3 unusual gifts. They will be revealed throughout the day on Instagram.

The gift list

The first present was a duck-flavoured pretzel. This one has already been swallowed, so no photo is available.

The second present was a Kong toy for her to chew on and why not find some food to lick from time to time.

The third gift was an anti-gluttony accessory that forces Mia to take a little more time to eat her kibbles.

Other gifts to come

Other gifts have been planned for September. Because yes, having a birthday on just one day is no fun, even though it’s customary.

Education courses

SVPA St-Cathrine Suisse (Société vaudoise de la protection des animaux)

Training courses are planned with the SVPA to see what needs to be improved in Mia’s behaviour. Those who know her will know that she has a tendency to over-protect her ‘toys’; picks and bits of wood taken from the park. She also sometimes growls at people who haven’t asked for anything and for no particular reason.

Living in the city, it’s only natural that Mia needs to learn a few things that will make her life easier when she meets other dogs and owners.

Tracking harness

After a few tests yesterday in the forest, Mia has shown that it’s incredibly easy to find people! The new harness will give her greater freedom of movement and better attachment points for this type of activity.

Os à ronger

She’ll be given a nice bone to gnaw on so she can cut her teeth and have fun with something more natural than Duck Pretzel. After all, she doesn’t digest ultra-processed food very well and so more natural food is given to her.

Take part in the festivities

If you feel like taking part in the festivities, you can either come to Montbenon Park in the mornings this week or simply make a donation via the page provided in the website shop. You can choose the amount you wish to donate in increments of 5 francs.

And to make sure you don’t miss a thing, follow us on Instagram! You can see all the gifts Mia has received. It’s also a great opportunity to like the content, follow the account and comment.

See you soon!
