A first that will be repeated over the coming months, the organisation of outings through the Play Dogs app! From 19 August 2023, the group, which has been set up for new owners – but not only – in the Lausanne area, will be organising weekend outings!
Walking with other dog owners
Play Dogs is a superb application that lets you create groups and events, and share walks that you take every day or that you particularly enjoy. It’s a great way to create links, exchange ideas and share good times, or find nice places to take your dog for a walk.
But the little extra is undoubtedly the possibility of creating events in the groups and sharing them with this small circle. This facility will be used every week via the group on the Play Dogs app: Lausanne | New Masters.
First outing on 19 August 2023 at 4.00 pm
This was the first outing organised for the group, which will set the ball rolling for future ones. As the aim is to bring together new owners from the Lausanne region, it’s essential to set up meetings.
See you on 19 August 2023 at 4pm in front of the fondation de l’Hermitage on the heights of Lausanne.
Everyone is welcome! New and old dog owners, friends and family are all welcome.
What will the walk consist of?
A short walk in the woods 🪵 with our 4-legged friends. Between forest and stream
RDVZ at l’Hermitage at 16:00 to then go into the forest and head towards the flon for a dog swim
Don’t forget to adapt to the weather and take something to drink (for yourself) + extra for your pooch.
A tour of the fountains available will be made for the dogs 🐕

Take rewards, lead and suitable shoes (closed)
The ride will last between 1:00 and 2:00 depending on what you feel like doing.
I strongly recommend that you register via the app. This will give you an initial idea of the number of participants. Register on Play Dogs.
If you have any questions, I will of course be happy to answer them. You can use the various channels available to communicate. However, I don’t pick up smoke signals or telekinetic waves.
Interact with the group outside the application
For those who wish, it is possible to join various messaging systems to exchange messages outside the application. This could be more practical in certain cases, such as organising outings or warning of danger or the loss of a pet.
There are currently 2 external solutions to PlayDogs :

- Whatsapp group
Only one of the two solutions will survive in the future, depending on the number of people who join one or the other.
