Testing the Dogo dressage application
If you’re stuck for inspiration when it comes to creating exercises for your dog, there are apps out there that promise to make it easy. For my part, I’ve tried out various apps and followed YouTube channels to get an idea of what can be done and how. But not everything is the same, especially when you have your first dog. So what should you choose? Here’s a review of my tests.
Youtube vs Dressage application
Youtube is a superb video platform on which you can find everything, food and drink. When it comes to dog training, it’s hard to find a good channel that doesn’t promote everything and anything. As far as I’m concerned, one channel has emerged Educhien_officiel. The trainer is calm and, in my opinion, provides a good dose of both positive and more traditional education.
There are various applications and online courses available. Personally, I prefer an application that is well designed and clearly shows me the different exercises to do and how to do them, with a video. My choice was unquestionably Dogo from among the applications I could find on my smartphone’s online shop. My choice was influenced by a quick test and feedback from users.
My opinion of Youtube versus Application
As you’ll have realised, Youtube isn’t too bad, but it doesn’t allow you to clearly track your dog’s progress, unlike a dedicated app. You can also discover a walking app that’s really nice and free. Check out our review of the Play Dogs app.
Introducing the Dogo dressage application
Dogo is undoubtedly the app to have if you want to discover new tricks for your dog and teach him the basics of good training. Walking a dog on a lead, making it jump on its back or making it fetch and bring back an object may seem simple enough. All this learning takes place beforehand, often in the peace and quiet of your own living room.
To keep your dog out of trouble, it’s important to teach it new tricks and let it discover the world through play. Dogo is an application that does just that, making it easy to teach your dog new tricks, keep track of its progress and learn a little more about your pet every day thanks to articles giving useful advice on how to get the best out of it.
An added bonus is the option of adding someone to train your pet, such as a dog sitter or other trusted person.
